Wallaroo Solar Farm is a joint venture development between NED and Univergy, a Spanish/Japanese renewable energy company with a strong international presence in the renewables sector.
The Wallaroo project is located in the Yass Valley region of NSW, along the ACT border. The project covers approximately 183 hectares of land. Once construction is completed, sheep grazing will be reintroduced to the land, this allows the deployment of renewable projects while minimising any impact to agricultural production.
